I give an "A"-rating, why does the program gives an error?

FlitskikkerRateSystem For Signatures uses the Dutch notes system. You must rate signatures from 0 (bad) to 10 (best). You cannot rate higher than 10 or lower than 0.


Why is the end rating very low while all entered values are high rates?

You may have entered zeroes ("0") in the boxes you didn't want to rate. The program will include this in the rating. Keep the boxes you don't want to rate empty to avoid this problem.


If I want to add some more details to my rating (like bonus points), why doesn't the score update?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. If you want rate again, you should quit and restart the program.

Why are some links not working?

Try downloading your file without FlitskikkerDownloader. The file may be removed from our server.

Why are some things not mentioned?

All information is retrieved through the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) library. Please check if this library is correctly working on your computer. Not all information can be retrieved as it's simply not retrievable through WMI or not available on your computer.


Why does the Upgrade Advisor gives strange recommendations?

The Upgrade Advisor is still beta and not fully completed. If some information is not or incorrectly display in Flitskikker InfoTool (see above question), the Upgrade Advisor may give you wrong recommendations. Besides, software cannot give you a 100 percent perfect recommendation about hardware upgrades, so please don't take the Upgrade Advisor's advise too serious. Always let it check by real computer technicians.


How do I translate Flitskikker InfoTool?

You can translate Flitskikker InfoTool using the FPL Editor. Launch it from the Start Menu or download and install it. Choose the Compare mode and select en.fpl or nl.fpl as base file. Select New File and save the file as, for example for German, de.fpl. Click Accept. Now enter your information and the software title (Flitskikker InfoTool). Click Accept again. Now you can translate Flitskikker InfoTool using the language grid. Click Save when you're done. Please submit your language file using the Contact page, so that we can include it in future builds. How to make skins for Flitskikker InfoTool?

Copy a skin from the skins folder and rename both the file and the folder, for example, to MySkin. You can open the .fps file using Notepad. Instructions about the .fps file are inside. All the images, fonts, text colors, etc. can be modified. Only the following files types are supported: BMP, DIB, JPG, GIF, WMF, EMF, ICO and CUR. The (toolbar) buttons can't handle transparent images. If your skin is finished, please submit your skin using the Contact page, so that we may can include it in future builds.





► GTA IV Manager


Why can't I download GTA IV Manager?

GTA IV Manager is still private beta, but we plan to release a public beta soon.


Why can't I backup my files?

Backup functionalities are not yet included in GTA IV Manager. We expect it will be included in a future build like v0.5.


GTA IV detects my savegames, but GTA IV Manager doesn't. Why?

GTA IV Manager searches for savegames in the default Save Game directory. Make sure you have access to these folders. GTA IV Manager is also (not yet) supported with the XLiveless-patch. We may don't include this compatibility, as using XLiveless is, as far as we know, illegal.


How do I translate GTA IV Manager?

You can translate GTA IV Manager using the FPL Editor. Launch it from the Start Menu or download and install it. Choose the Compare mode and select en.fpl or nl.fpl as base file. Can I add custom skins to GTA IV Manager?

Yes, but you need to replace and existing skin. Skins included with GTA IV Manager are generated using Codejock's SkinFramework.

I don't like the layout of this program. Why hasn't it been made like your other tools?

We didn't spend a lot of time at designing FPL Editor. We may make it looks nice in a future version.





► LITERS


When launching LITERS, I get the error message "LITERS has stopped working". What's the cause of that?

Some required components of LITERS are missing. These could be DLL files, or the .NET Framework is not installed.


Why do I get the message "Failed to search for updates" at startup?

You don't have an internet connection or your firewall blocks access. Also our update server could be offline. Please wait some hours until our server is running again, or turn off the option "Check for updates at startup" at the Settings window, if it gets annoying.


Where do I get new streams?

Regulary check for new stream packs through "Updates" > "Check for new stream packs". You can also search online for stream and add them through "File" > "Add stream".


At startup I get a wierd error message with things I don't understand. What's wrong?

Probably the Microsoft .NET Framework is not installed. At least version 2 is required, but version 3.5 SP1is recommended. Visit the Microsoft website if you need to install the .NET Framework.
